RTI: Response to Intervention
Live Multi-point videoconference through the Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center.

Presenters: Sharon Steinmetz, MVESC School Psychologist and Cathy Morgan, MVESC Curriculum Consultant.

This session will provide a vision of what RTI might look like in practice and how educators can use this approach in schools. Using the three tiers of intervention, general education teachers and intervention specialists can use research-based strategies to effectively individualize instruciton, monitor individual studen tprogress and implement strategies to meet specific needs of students. This session emphasizes a problem solving approach in which data is an integral part in making decisions. Particpants will examine a framework that will assist in effectively teaching all children. 

Registration is required and registration deadline is November 17, 2008. This session is free to all Clark County Local School Districts and Springfield City Public School educators. All others are welcome to attend for a registration fee of $20.00.
