The Success Maker program was created to recognize staff members who are working daily to create opportunities for success for their students, co-workers, and their community. The CCESC staff members are truly making a difference in the lives of our students.
Spring 2026 Success Makers
Jenny Harral
Jenny Harral, Assistant Director of Preschool, has played an instrumental role in supporting both teachers and students within our preschool program. She consistently encourages staff to think beyond traditional approaches, reflect on their practices, and implement innovative strategies that better meet the diverse needs of students. Through her guidance and support, teachers feel empowered to grow, take risks, and strengthen their impact in the classroom.
In addition to her leadership with staff, Jenny continually steps in wherever she is needed to ensure the preschool runs smoothly each day. She took the initiative to learn EMIS, helping strengthen the program’s organization, compliance, and efficiency behind the scenes. Her flexibility, problem-solving mindset, and dedication to excellence have helped create a stable, supportive environment where both teachers and students can thrive. Jenny’s intentional leadership and commitment to success make her a truly valued member of our school community.
Liza Holliday
Liza Holliday, Youth Connections Supervisor, exemplifies what it means to be a Success Maker through her dedication, leadership, and commitment to student success. She has played a vital role in growing the Youth Connections program to nearly 30 students, ensuring each student receives meaningful support and opportunities to succeed. Her vision and persistence have helped make the program an essential resource for students who need additional guidance and connection.
Liza has also strengthened collaboration across our schools by creating consistent weekly check-ins with home schools, improving communication and ensuring students receive the support they need. She leads with integrity, fosters a positive and solution-focused culture, and continually goes above and beyond for both students and staff. The impact she has made is evident in the success of the program and the respect she has earned from those around her.
Maddy Rike
Maddy Rike, Speech Language Pathologist and AAC specialist, has made a meaningful impact on students, families, staff, and the community through her dedication and expertise. Maddy is recognized for the difference she makes each day in supporting student communication and success.
She has been instrumental in helping families navigate grant funding opportunities for AAC devices, ensuring students have access to the tools they need to thrive. Maddy has also provided valuable learning opportunities for staff through book studies and “Core Word of the Week” resources that continue to positively impact classrooms.
In addition, Maddy led engaging AAC sessions during the Beyond Barriers awareness event, helping community members better understand AAC devices and inclusive communication. Through her leadership and commitment to students and families, Maddy truly embodies the spirit of a Success Maker.
